Senator Larry Campbell
Senator Larry Campbell was elected to the Board of Directors of Great Canadian Gaming Corporation in June, 2008. He has been a Senator with the Government of Canada since August 2005. Currently, Mr. Campbell is the President of Mortis Consulting Ltd. where he does contract work for private industry and government in the area of forensics and investigation. Mr. Campbell was the Mayor of Vancouver from 2002 to 2005, winning the Richard J. Dennis Drugpeace Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Drug Policy Reform and the 2006 Vision to Reality Award. During this time he was the Chair of the Vancouver Police Board, and the Vice Chair of the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee with the Greater Vancouver Regional District. As well, Mr. Campbell worked for the BC Coroners Service between 1981 and 2000 and was the Chief Coroner with the Government of British Columbia, Ministry of the Attorney General between 1996 and 2000. Mr. Campbell also served with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police from 1967 to 1981. Between 1982 and 1990, he attained a Masters of Business Administration degree and Bachelor of Science degree. Senator Campbell is also a Director of the Canucks for Kids Fund.
