Great Canadian Gaming Corporation is an active corporate citizen, supporting numerous local and nation-wide initiatives. Building strong communities is important to us, and we're very proud of  the contributions we've made to those organizations we've had the opportunity to support. Examples include:

BC Children’s Hospital Foundation
Bublé Gala

In September 2008, Great Canadian Gaming Corporation collaborated with B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation to help organize, host and support the Bublé Gala at River Rock Show Theatre. Through generous donations the foundation was able to raise over $2.2 million.

Canadian Music Therapy Fund
Music Therapy Ride

For the sixth year in a row, River Rock Casino Resort has been the title sponsor of the Music Therapy Ride hosted each September. With the help of the Vancouver Police Drill Team, over a hundred motorcycles and cars drove from Vancouver to Whistler in order to raise funds for terminally ill children who use music to cope with their illnesses. Over the years, the cast of celebrities who've supported this initiative has included: George Strombopolous, Ed Robertson of the Barenaked Ladies, Russell Peters and Brent Butt.

Variety - The Children’s Charity of BC
Telethon

For years, Great Canadian Gaming Corporation has been a dedicated supporter of Variety, The Children’s Charity Telethon, offering our services in any way possible. In 2007, the Red Robinson Show Theatre hosted their annual telethon and made a generous contribution.

David Foster Foundation
David Foster & Friends Charity Gala

Great Canadian Gaming Corporation has been a devoted supporter of the David Foster & Friends Charity Gala, which aims to provide much needed financial assistance and emotional support to the families of children waiting for organ transplants.
